This is the map from gmap-pedometer as it was before the ride. It approximates the actually race, though there are a few roads slighlty different at the actual ride.
I have listed some, but not all, of the hills on a google map. The slope, distance & elevation gain of the hill climbs are as measured by my polar monitor, so their accuracy may be questioned, but could be used as a comparison. Click on the map below to interact with google's current version.
Technical video details:
The shoot was recorded on DVCAM mini tapes on a Canon XL-2. It was edited on a MacBook Pro and a Dual Power PC G5 in Final Cut Pro HD. The soundtrack was created on SonicFire Pro and the original audio cleaned (of lawnmower sounds, etc) with Peak Express 4 and Soundsoap.
